Here are some things we wanted to add to our reviews this week:

MERLIN

*GOOD QUOTES*

Arthur: I warn you, I've been trained to kill since birth.
Merlin: Wow. And how long have you been training to be a prat?
Arthur: You can't address me like that.
Merlin: Sorry. How long have you been training to be a prat, my lord?

VIRTUALIY

*THE WIDESCREEN RANT*

I don't know if the reason why I'm not seeing shows broadcast in widescreen is because of the digital switch, so maybe I'm being unfair but I can't help being irritated by the number of shows I'm seeing presented in a way that was not intended by the people who made it. Anyway, I couldn't help myself. If the fault, however does not lie with Fox and other networks, I would be happy to eat my words :).

HARRY POTTER MUSICAL

*LINKITIVITY (COPYRIGHT BARNEY STINSON)*

For those who want to watch the first five minutes of the play or just want to monitor the page until they start putting the rest of the show back up, here's the link to the youtube channel that will post it:

StarKidPotter

SUPERNATURAL

*GOOD QUOTE*

Dean: So you believe her?
Sam: I do.
Dean: Yeah, I think she's hot, too.

FIREFLY

*GOOD QUOTE*

Simon: I'm very sorry she tipped off anybody about your cunningly concealed heard of cows.

VERONICA MARS

*STATEMENT CORRECTION*

There's a contingent of fans who want to see Veronica with Leo, not Logan. Although, I'm sure that there are many Logan/ Leo fans out there, too ;).

*GOOD QUOTES*

Logan: (to Veronica) Annoy, tiny blonde one, annoy like the wind!

Veronica: Is there a hot guy catalogue?

Logan (to Weevil): If you're asking me to the prom again, the answer is still no.

PUSHING DAISIES

*THE FUNERAL*

I just want to say, again, how much I enjoyed this show. It even managed to get better with time (and I loved the pilot, so me saying that is high praise, indeed). I'll miss it :(.

*GOOD QUOTES*

Lily (in reference to a letter Vivian was sending): Sorry a shark ate your bitch of a sister

Gus: I know you can't prove Bubba [the shark] didn't eat Ms. Ramora, he did, and what a crap last meal that must have been.

VERONICA MARS

*GOOD QUOTES*

Veronica: Sometimes people find it very difficult to say no to me.

Veronica: Meg, you're the last good person at this school. I'd believe cartoon birds braided your hair this morning.

SUPERNATURAL

*GOOD QUOTES*

Dean: Sam wears women's underwear.

Dean (in reference to a shape shifter who looks like him): I'm gonna find that handsome devil and kick the holy crap out of him.

FIREFLY

*GOOD QUOTES*

Wash: I've been sane a long while now and change is good. (This must have been what Alan Tudyk was thinking before he accepted his role on Dollhouse ;)).

Zoe: Wasn't plannin' on the dirt kissin', sir.
Wash: I wouldn't stand for it anyway, captain, jealous man like me.

Badger: Thought we might have a bit of a sit down.
Mal: Prefer a bit of a piss off.

Warwick Harrow: I think he's a psychotic lowlife.
Mal: And I think calling him that is an insult to the psychotic lowlife community.

DOLLHOUSE

*GOOD QUOTE*

Victor: I'm keeping my sexy businesswoman shoes.

This week, there's another surprise at the end of the podcast. Listen all the way to the end of the episode, wait for the music to end and you'll hear something pretty entertaining... :)

VERONICA MARS

*GOOD QUOTES*

Mr. Clemmons: Mr. Echolls. I was wondering if I could have a word?
Logan: "Anthropomorphic." All yours, big guy.

Mr. Daniels: This is punishment, gentlemen, not party time.
Logan: Well that would explain the absence of balloon animals.

Mr. Daniels: What is this, Reno or detention?
Logan: Would you believe it? The best of both

SUPERNATURAL

Here are some things that we wanted to add to our reviews this week:

*SPECIAL SURPRISE*

If you listen all the way to the end of the episode and wait for the ending music to end, you'll hear something pretty entertaining... :)

VERONICA MARS

*
REVERSE THE STEREOTYPE*

Minoti : Veronica playing the ditzy Amber was just hilarious. And then she blames her 'forgetfulness' on her being blonde. Except we all know that the show focuses on the 'tiny-blonde-one' being super intelligent for her age, so yay for Rob Thomas!

*GOOD QUOTES*

Wallace: It's not going to work. You can't take the cool out of me. Look, pocket protector and I'm still full of pimp juice.

Veronica: We Need to talk.
Luke: Alright, well, does it have to be next to the feminine hygiene machine?

PUSHING DAISIES

*GOOD QUOTES*

(And there are a ton of them. This show was so good. It's sad they canceled it).

Buster: What do we always say about the past?
Olive: It makes an ass out of you and me.

Emerson: Loaning pie boy to your bestie who's in love with him in order to pull the wool over fake papa's peepers is the kind of idea that gives a bad idea the will to live.

Buster: My jingle's got to have some room to Jangle.

Chuck: Peep this, playa.
Emerson: Don't do that.

Olive: Try on? You try on a sweater at the mall. You try on your best friend's bra and you smile on the inside cause yours are bigger and better, you don't try on a person."

Olive: I'm sorry, both for what I'm about to tell you and the hysteria with which I'm about to tell it which is in no way directed at any of you nor is it related to a female issue of any kind.

Jerry: Take mad and multiply that by a power of pissed.

SUPERNATURAL

*DROOLING AT THE SCREEN*

Minoti: I know we mentioned this a million times, but : JENSON AND JARRED ARE SO HOT! :D

*GOOD QUOTES*

Dean (Nodding to the the FBI agents) : Agent Mulder. Agent Scully.

FIREFLY

*CHARACTER EVOLUTION*

Minoti: I love Mal's moral ambiguity. This episode really brings out his gray shades and I like it!

*GOOD QUOTES*

Mal: Hell, this job I would pull for free.
Zoe: Can I have your share?
Mal: No.
Zoe: If you die, can I have your share?
Mal: Yes

Inara: Mal, if you're being a gentleman, I may die of shock.

Jayne: Do you know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with until you understand who's in ruttin' command, here.

Thanks for listening, guys!

TV Weekly Episode 5 - The Mosby

Our fifth episode is up! You can download it off iTunes or listen to it directly here:

TV Weekly Episode 5

This week we reviewed How I Met Your Mother, Gossip Girl, My Boys, Glee, and Ugly Betty.

We also talked about upfronts where we discussed the renewals of Friday Night Lights, Chuck, Dollhouse, and more.

For those of you who were wondering what we were going to do during the summer, (I was included among your ranks) we have decided to review older shows along with the few new shows we watch during that time. We are already thinking of reviewing Firefly and Veronica Mars but we were hoping to hear which shows you guys would like us to review. If you have any suggestions, comment here or send us an email at televisionweekly@gmail.com.

Here are some things that we wanted to add to our reviews this week:

MY BOYS

*GOOD QUOTE*

PJ (about Andy): "I know you're new here but feel free to be embarrassed for him"

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER

*STATEMENT CORRECTION*

Leslie: The mother was in Ted's class at Columbia, not Ted's mother. If it was Ted's mother, this would have been a very different show =/.

UGLY BETTY

*GOOD QUOTES*

Mark: "Normally I don't like or notice older people but that was interesting".

Amanda (on Betty leaving Mode) "It would be like losing an elderly aunt that I'm sort of fond of"

DOLLHOUSE

*A CELEBRATION*

It was renewed! It was renewed! Wooohooooo!! (We already celebrated a bit on the show but it bears repeating).

Thanks for listening!

TV Weekly Episode 4 - Mouse Rat

Our fourth episode is now up. You can download it off iTunes or listen to it directly here:

TV Weekly Episode 4

This week we talked about 10 TV shows ( The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Gossip Girl, House, My Boys, Lost, Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, Parks and Recreation, and The Office).

We also talked about some TV news where we mention stuff about shows like Dollhouse, Friday Night Lights and Chuck.

We only have a comment or two to add this week:

PARKS AND RECREATION

*GOOD QUOTE*

Mark (On the fact that he was able to lower a speed bump by two inches): "Apparently what I can achieve in government can literally be measured."

GREY'S ANATOMY

*MAKING COUNT VON COUNT PROUD*

Zack Gilford from Friday Night Lights guest stared on the show this week. I mentioned in the podcast that several of the actors from Friday Night Lights have been guest stars. So far, these are the ones I can think of: Kyle Chandler (Eric Taylor), Aasha Davis (Waverly Grady), Kevin Rankin (Herc), Jesse Plemons (Landry Clark), and Derek Phillips (Billy Riggins). Comment if you can think of anyone else :).
Number of FNL people on Grey's Anatomy: 6.

LOST

*STATEMENT CORRECTION*

Leslie: I meant to say that the force that killed Jacob could take the form of (not possess) anyone who dies.

We'll see you guys next week!
